CMC Sports & Social Club 2015

Charley Eva Willis was very moved when she saw what little Luca suffered following his illness and at her fifth birthday party she asked that her party guests, mostly from Lakeside Primary School,  didn’t buy her presents but made a donation for the charity called “For Luca”

Luca is the little boy from Llandaff who had to have his legs partly amputated due to meningococcal septicaemia and the campaign is an attempt to raise funds for his on-going care.

Charley’s Pirates and Princesses party was held in the Lounge at the Cardiff Medical Centre Sports and Social Club and an official collection box was available on the day for anyone would like to make a contribution.   The Club’s Children’s Charity kindly agreed to double any money raised at the party so hopefully the kiddies could have some fun and at the same time help a very brave little boy.

At the party the entertainment was provided by Funtastic Parties and in addition to general fun and face painting Mel wrote “For Luca” on all the kiddies hands (see pictures).

The kiddies had a great time and we were very pleased to have collected £185 pounds on the day which was doubled by the Sports and Social Club to £400.
